New frontier models arrive in weeks or months, not years. Open-weight models now rival closed ones. Agentic systems have started to act rather than merely answer.  Every one of those shifts widens the opportunity, and the risk surface, at the same time.

Meanwhile most organizations cannot answer a deceptively simple question: what AI are we actually running, who owns it, what is it worth, and what could it cost us?

GuardLight brings the AI estate into one portfolio view — a continuous read on its health — scored consistently for value and risk, and kept current as the landscape moves underneath it.

Four questions every AI portfolio must answer

• Where to invest - Which use cases and platforms justify new spend, and which are duplicating capability you already license.

• Where to inspect - Which deployments carry material risk and need evidence, controls, and human oversight before they scale.

• Where to reward - Which investments are actually realizing value, so success is reinforced rather than merely assumed.

• Where to rein in - Which shadow, stalled, or over-exposed AI should be consolidated, contained, or retired outright.

1 Discover Build the authoritative inventory: sanctioned platforms, embedded features, self-hosted models, and shadow AI.

2 Assess Score every entry on one scale for opportunity, realized value, and risk: exposure, dependency, autonomy.

3 Decide  Fund and scale where value is proven, add oversight where exposure is real, with named ownership.

4 Evolve  Role-based org development and oversight, playbooks for rational pace, and the case that innovation and control are one goal.

5 Track Re-score continuously as versions ship, rules take effect, and innovations mature, so your AI efforts move deliberately.

See it in action

Every AI Bearing Check ends with one view of your whole portfolio: each effort plotted by how far your organization has put it to use, and how far governance has actually kept pace. The gap between the two is where risk hides.

Balance risk and reward at the speed of AI evolution.

Regulated organizations cannot choose between moving fast and proving control - they are held to both. GuardLight makes the trade-off explicit, defensible, and current: opportunity captured deliberately, exposure contained visibly, and the organization equipped to move with it.
